DAY 01: IQUITOS ARRIVAL - CURAKA

Reception at the airport or hotel, followed by a brief tour of the Plaza de Armas, the Main Church, the Iron House (Casa de Fierro), the riverfront promenade, and historic mansions from the rubber boom era. Transfer to the private dock to board a speedboat and navigate the Itaya River, passing under the Nanay Bridge—the longest in Peru. We will continue to the Amazon River, where we will learn about this majestic waterway while looking for gray and pink dolphins.

Arrival at Cumaceba Curaka Inn; reception with a fruit drink, bungalow assignment, and a typical lunch featuring "Juane." In the afternoon, a jungle walk to explore the local biodiversity. After dinner, a night walk or canoe excursion (depending on the season) to experience the sounds and mysteries of the jungle. Overnight stay at the lodge.

DAY 02: CURAKA LODGE

Start the day with birdwatching in their natural habitat, either on foot or by canoe. Breakfast. Excursion to visit a local river dweller, where we will encounter non-venomous boa constrictors, sloths, turtles, and more. We will learn about the artisanal extraction of sugarcane juice and sample the juice along with its derivatives, such as cane rum and molasses.

Return to the lodge for a typical fish-based lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit the riverside village of "Gallito" to learn about local customs and daily activities. Weather permitting, we will end the day with a spectacular sunset. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

DAY 03: CURAKA LODGE

Breakfast. Fishing along the banks of the Amazon River, catching species such as catfish and piranhas. Viewing of the *Victoria regia* (giant water lily), the world's largest aquatic plant. Return to the lodge for a typical *Patarashca* lunch, followed by relaxation time in the hammock area or by the pool. In the afternoon, explore the surrounding area to discover plants and trees with medicinal uses, as well as fruits harvested by local river dwellers. These include the historic rubber tree, balata, cedar, and the majestic lupuna. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

DAY 04: CURAKA LODGE – DEPARTURE TO IQUITOS

Breakfast. Canoe excursion along the banks of the Amazon River to observe birds, iguanas, and other wildlife. Free time to relax in the hammock house or take photographs of the surroundings.

Traditional lunch featuring *cecina* (cured pork) with *tacacho* (mashed plantain). On the return journey to Iquitos, we will visit the Bora native community to learn about their customs, dialect, traditional clothing, and dances; it is recommended to bring items to trade for their handmade crafts. Arrival in Iquitos and transfer to the airport or hotel. End of services.
